The main disadvantages of the belt micro-oil piston air compressor are low efficiency (only 70-85% of twin screw or sliding vane type), super high noise and heavy maintenance workload.

The advantage is that the price is cheap, generally only 1/5 or even lower of twin screw and sliding vane type (take joint venture or imported brand as reference). Because of its low efficiency, it has been phased out in industrial applications. Piston machines are mainly used in low-power micro-civilian markets and high-pressure models (above 20bar).


 

The advantage of the silent oil-free piston engine is that it has a wider applicable pressure range, and the required pressure can be reached regardless of the size of the displacement. Compared with belt conveyors, it has higher thermal efficiency and lower energy consumption, which greatly reduces the energy consumption of piston air compressors. The device system is relatively simple and compact, with good sealing performance, easy to use, stable operation, low vibration, low noise, and the muffler can reduce the noise of the piston type air compressor. Compared with the belt type piston machine, its noise is not small a little bit.
