1. Solid particles: The air compressor suction filter is unable to eliminate particles smaller than 2μm in size. 2. Moisture: After the atmosphere is compressed and condensed, it becomes wet saturated air and entrains a large number of liquid water droplets. They are the root cause of the corrosion of equipment, pipelines, and valves. In winter, freezing will also block the small holes in the pneumatic system. Even if it is separated and clean pure saturated air, as the temperature decreases, there will still be condensation water. About every 10 ℃ decreases, its saturated water content will drop by 50%, that is, half of the water vapor will be converted into liquid water droplets.

 

3. Oil: The air compressor running at high speed and high temperature use lubricating oil to play the role of lubrication, sealing, and cooling, but it pollutes the compressed air. Although the use of pure oil-free machines reduces the oil content in the compressed air, it also produces side effects such as reduced service life of wearing parts, corrosion of the machine interior and piping system, etc., which is undoubtedly for the pursuit of high-reliability automated production lines and air equipment Is a threat.

 

Therefore, compressed air post-processing equipment has become the key equipment to remove these impurities, escorting product quality and air equipment. Common post-processing equipment includes air tanks, filters (high-efficiency degreasers, precision filters), dryers (refrigeration dryers, adsorption dryers), oil-water separators, coolers, etc.

Dryer: The dryer is to further absorb and remove the moisture and oil in the compressed air and turn it into dry air for use in a system composed of pneumatic instruments and jet components that require high air source quality. At present, there are mainly two types of compressed air drying devices produced and used in my country: adsorption type and refrigeration type.
